Why You Need a Sitemap

A well-structured XML sitemap directly improves search engine visibility

Large Portfolios

Agencies, photographers, and developers with hundreds of portfolio pages benefit from structured sitemaps.

SEO Audits

Use the generated URL list to audit your site structure, identify orphan pages, and improve internal linking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about XML sitemaps

An XML sitemap is a file that lists all the important pages on your website so search engines like Google and Bing can discover and index them efficiently. It is especially useful for large sites, new sites, or pages that are not easily found through internal links.

Our server fetches your homepage, extracts all internal links, then visits each discovered page and repeats the process — a technique called breadth-first crawling. Only pages on your domain are included; external links are ignored.

You can crawl up to 200 pages per run. For larger sites we recommend increasing the limit gradually or splitting the crawl across sections. Google's sitemap specification supports up to 50,000 URLs per sitemap file.

changefreq hints to search engines how often a page is likely to change (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). priority is a 0.0–1.0 score relative to other pages on your site. Both are hints, not directives — search engines may ignore them, but they help guide crawl scheduling.

Upload sitemap.xml to the root of your website (e.g. https://example.com/sitemap.xml). Then submit it via Google Search Console under Sitemaps and via Bing Webmaster Tools for faster indexing.

Yes — completely free. No account required, no watermarks, no limits on how many times you use it. All crawling is done on our servers so your browser does not need to do any heavy lifting.
